In my Children's Literature Class, I created an online webquest for students to complete based on the Dr. Seuss book Oh the Places You'll Go.Through this webquest, students will listen to the story, as well as learn how to create a bucket list of their own using Smore. This assignment taught me about creating coherent instructions for my students. If my directions and links on my website were not clear or did not work, then my students would not be able to complete the task I assigned them to do. By working hard and trying out my webquest on my own, I was able to assure that students would be able to complete the webquest with ease. This ties into the Danielson Framework component 1E because it shows how having coherent instruction is important when doing online tasks because if students do not understand what the teacher wants, they will not be able to complete the task in the end. Overall, this project was fun to create and through the use of Weebly, was easy to construct in a timely manner. I would definitely use Weebly again to create other webquests for my students to complete in my own classroom.
