This component of Domain 2 is about how it is important to create a culture of learning within the classroom. Teachers need to establish a culture of life-long learning for both themselves and their students. This is important because the classroom environment must reflect work that is valued by both the teacher and the students. It is also important that students participate in the class, set high standards for themselves, and value the information they are being taught every day. By establishing a classroom culture of learning, students will take pride in their work and do their best on assignment.
